You may be atheist or agnostic, or belongs to one of the many religious denominations, political or social standing today.
Whatever you are, of what their political and ideological beliefs, or what your social and personal habits.
YET YOU STILL NEED TO KNOW THIS MAN
The Encyclopedia Britannica confirms …
“… Countless data from the early sources show that was an honest man, honest and had earned the respect and loyalty of others equally honest and honorable men “(vol. 12).
BERNARD SHAW, referring to him, said: “It would have to call El Salvador Site. I think if a man like him assume the leadership of the modern world, succeed in solving its problems, bringing much needed peace and quiet. “(The Genuine Islam, Singapore, vol. 1, No. 8, 1936).
“This was by far the most extraordinary man to set foot on this world. He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, established a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a strong and dynamic company who performed and gave his teachings and completely revolutionized the world of thought and human behavior all the coming years. “
“HIS NAME IS MUHAMMAD” The Peace of God be upon
Born in Arabia in 570 AD C., at the age of forty, he began his mission, preaching the religion of Truth, Islam (worship of a God), and left this world when he was sixty-three years.
During this short period of twenty years as a prophet changed the entire Arabian Peninsula: from paganism and idolatry to worship of One God, from tribal quarrels and wars to national solidarity and cohesion, from drunkenness and debauchery to sobriety and piety, from lawlessness and anarchy to disciplined living, from utter moral bankruptcy to the lofty standards of morality. Never in the history of mankind, before or since has known such a complete transformation of a people or place. And all these amazing miracles occurred in only two decades
Lamartine, world-renowned historian, said referring to the fundamental wonders of human greatness:
“If greatness of purpose, lack of means and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare a great man in modern history with Muhammad? Only the most famous men created arms, laws and empires. Instituted, if they ever did, material powers which often crumbled away before their very eyes. This man moved not only armies, legislations, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions of men from one third of the inhabited world …. His forbearance in victory, his ambition, devoted entirely to an ideal, not build an empire, his endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God, his death and his triumph over death, all this attests not a fallacy, but the firm conviction which gave him the strength to restore a dogma. A dogma was twofold: the oneness of God and the immateriality, the first speaks of what God is, the second of what is not. The first overthrows the false gods, the second makes an idea with words.
Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of cult without cones, founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire that is Muhammad.
Whatever rules are applied to evaluate human greatness, we ask: Is there any man greater than he? (Lamartine, History of Turquie, Paris, 1854, vol. 11, pp. 276-277).
The world has had great personalities, but partial figures have been highlighted in one or two fields, such as religious thought or military leadership. The lives and teachings of these great personalities fade into the mist of time. There are many speculations about the dates and places of their births, their forms and styles of life, nature and content of his teachings and the degree and extent of their successes or failures, it is impossible for humanity to reconstruct accurately their lives and teachings.
Not so with this man. There are so many accomplishments that Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) received in the fields of human thought and behavior that its light remains blemish in the history of mankind. Every aspect of their private life and his public speeches has been accurately documented and faithfully preserved to our days. The authenticity of stored files has been confirmed not only by the followers of Muhammad, but by his own critics.
Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) was a teacher of religion, social reformer, moral guidance, administrative colossus, a faithful friend, devoted husband, loving father-all in one. No other man in history than or equal him in these different aspects of life, but only the selfless personality of Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) belonged to achieve such incredible perfections.
Mahatma Gandhi, referring to the person of Muhammad (Peace of God be upon him) states in Young India:
“I wanted to know who the best of today retains an undeniable influence on the hearts of millions of men …
When I closed the second volume (of the biography of the Prophet), regretted not being able to continue reading about his exceptional life. “
Thomas Carlyle in Heroes and Heroworship, shows just amazed “how one man, unaided, could make in less than two decades enemy tribes and nomadic Bedouins in the most powerful and civilized nation.”
Diwan Chand Sharma wrote: “Muhammad was the epitome of goodness, and all those around him felt his influence and not unlearned” (DC Sharma, The Prophets of the East, Calcutta, 1935, pg. 12).
Edward Gibbon and Simon Ockely, referring to the expression of faith in Islam, wrote: “I believe in one God and Muhammad, Messenger of God” is the simple and invariable profession of Islam.
“The intellectual image of God has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honor of the prophet never transgressed the measure of human virtues, and his living precepts have confined the gratitude of his disciples within the limits of reason and religion” (History of the Saracen Empires, London, 1987, pg. 54).
Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) was neither more nor less than human. But it was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity in the worship of one and only God, and teach her to live honestly and honorably fulfilling God’s commandments. Muhammad always described himself as “A Servant and Messenger of God, and that was certainly what they claimed each of his actions.
Referring to the aspect of equality before God in Islam, the famous poetess of India, Sarojini Naidu, said: “It was the first religion that preached and practiced democracy, democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day, when listening to the call to prayer in the mosque, speakers meet, where kings and peasants kneel side by side and proclaim: “God alone is Supreme.”
“Again and again I was struck by this indivisible unity of Islam that makes each man instinctively a brother” (S. Naidu, “Ideals of Islam”, see speach & Writings, Madras, 1981, pg. 169).
In the words of Prof. Hurgronje “the League of Nations, founded by the prophet of Islam, established the principle of international unity and human brotherhood on such universal concepts that showed the way for other nations.” He continues: “The reality is that no nation in the world shows parallel to what Islam has done for the realization of the idea of the League of Nations.”
The world has not hesitated to erect into divinities whose lives and missions have been lost in legend. Historically speaking, none of these people achieved a fraction of what Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) reached. And every effort was solely intended to unite humanity in the worship of One God being based on moral codes. Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) and his followers never at any time stated that he was the son of God, the incarnation of God or a man with divine powers. But it always was and this is still considered, a Messenger chosen by God.
Michael H. Hart, who published a book that ranks the men who contributed to the welfare and improvement of mankind, wrote: “My choice at the time of establishing the relationship of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history to reach the complete success both religious and secular. “(MH Hart, The 100: A rankingon the rnost influentíalpersons in the History, New York, 1978, pg. 33.
Now, after fourteen centuries, the life and teachings of Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) have survived without the slightest reduction, alteration or interpolation. They offer the same undying hope for treating many diseases of mankind today offered in the Prophet’s life. And this is not to declare the disciples of Muhammad (peace of God be upon him), but the inevitable conclusion imposed by the critical and unbiased history.
What can you do as a rational human being and concerns is to stop a moment and ask yourself:
Can they really be true these statements sounding so extraordinary and revolutionary? And if you really are true and you know not to Muhammad (peace of God be upon him) or has not heard of it, is not it time that you faced this tremendous challenge and strive to meet?
Not only will cost you nothing, but may be the beginning of a whole new stage in his life. We invite you to discover this remarkable man, “Muhammad (peace of God be upon him).”
