If you were born as a Muslim, one of your earliest memories must be a sentence beginning with “In the name of Allah (1), the Compassionate, the Merciful.
I remember you learned this literally in the lap of your mother. You heard your father say it, and he told you this was the beginning of the opening chapter of your Holy Book – the Noble Al Quran. It was an encouraging prayer, and she stays with you today, helping in the important moments of your life:
”In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful!”
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Universe, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Lord Justice Day. To Thee do we worship and Thee we ask for help. Lead us to the straight path, The path of those whom You have favored, which are not covered by your anger and not astray. Amen (The Beginning 1:1-7)
This prayer is with you right now, as is the call to prayer was whispered in your ear after your birth, long before you can remember what it is:
Allah is Greatest
Allah is Greatest
Allah is Greatest
Allah is Greatest
I bear witness that there is no God other than Allah.
I bear witness that there is no God other than Allah.
I testify that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah.
I testify that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah.
Come to prayer!
Come to prayer!
Come to happiness!
Come to happiness!
Allah is Greatest
Allah is Greatest
There is no god other than Allah!
This call may have heard many times not counting, five times a day, if you lived to reach the voice of a mosque. In the place of worship, where your parents took you, you’ve seen the imam – or Islamic head, raise your hands and voice, to say: “In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.” – You will then you went with your lips and your heart.
Always when the Imam was not present, or when you were at the wheel of Muslims missing from this boss, the most learned among them, or perhaps the oldest among you, leading the prayer. As Islam is democratic, and trains its leaders within their own community members.
There is no clergy in Islam. It is a pious faith that encourages men of talent.
These childhood memories put you in touch with the wider world, a world of transcendental reality. I have been taught other things, that everyone should know and respect. Many times as a child, you reflect on the words paternal or maternal and connect with something higher and mysterious, with lofty things you used to feel, but could not fully understand: the distant sky domes beating a mosque tiles the beauty of nature, the joy of living, and love your parents, your family and friends. But, above all, your thoughts and feelings returned to the place of worship, the mosque, and brought to mind the name always volviente, and attributes of ALLAH.
Something in common devotion was different from anything else in our land. The people were different when he came to pray in community. Your parents were different. Whenever they approached the place of prayer, were quiet and reverent, as they had prepared for honest thoughts and having cleaned physically, spiritually. And it was understandable as our places of worship are wonderfully beautiful with its golden domes and minarets rising, and with fresh vaults and galleries where the man is able to pray and meditate. Even the soft rugs make you feel at home, to sit in them.
In cities where Muslims predominate, such as Casablanca, Algiers, Damascus, Cairo, Istanbul, Isfahan, Lahore, Jakarta, mosques defy description. You may have heard that God is within them a very particular way, as He is such a special way to Makkah, within the sacred precincts of the Ka’ba. It was Allah who created heaven and earth and their mosques are His house, where man can find. And for that reason they have to be beautiful and comforting.
When you were still very young, learn to love the mosque, and you, too, came back a reverent when approaching them. Taught you to remove your shoes and leave them on the portal, or bringing in your hand to leave them in the aisle at your side, and soon you and your fellow devotees went to prostrate himself touching the ground with her forehead in humility before of Allah. Therefore, the floor in front of you has to be clean every time you want to pray.
Nobody is going to happen just pray or near a mosque, be less than scrupulously clean. In this state it is easier to relate to God as you prepare for it; and once prepared to pray, you will not want to change this state by a dirty or dishonest what to do: – “The man stops praying indecency of sexual misconduct and of all evil, “says the Koran. (The Spider 29:45) Thus, if you were not soon to to get close to the mosque, then going to the source, beyond the entrance, and get ready for prayer.
Just now entering the large hall and started to pray with reverence, facing the prayer niche indicating the direction you sacred center of Mecca, which all Muslims face when praying. You said the sentences that correspond, or if it was Friday and Noon, you look forward to the Imam and climbed into the pulpit (Al-Minbar) from where he was reading (Al-Khutba). When the service was over, you gave your hand to your friends and acquaintances, and you all continued their journey with a comforting feeling in the heart. Allah considers “Men whom neither business nor labor distracted to remember to Allah, to pray and pay the welfare rate. (The Light 24:37)
In the holy month of Ramadan, when everyone fasts during daylight hours, from sunrise to sunset, you usually find you resting you as many people used in breathing peace brokers of the mosque. Mosques are filled during the month of Ramadan, traders, artisans, students, civil servants, kneeling or leaning in the hallways or carpets. Your thoughts accompanying your eyes when you followed the arabesques on the walls, the lines representing verses from the Noble Qur’an. You thought to God through them, were identical words that your parents had taught, Holy Book, and now you covered. Islam was how you marked, as a child. But come to the youth, we found that Islam was not only a religion, but it was a comprehensive way of life (Deen), and he helped you face life with all its realities. The most courageous of your friends were those who also came to the mosque on Friday, there to meet Allah. You find a source of strength in your five daily prayers and other practices now more meaningful to you. And every time you get given his inability to offer prayer a. its due time, you felt embarrassed and tried to offer compliance at the earliest opportunity. And when did you lived away from the mosque and I could not make it your daily prayers, prayed at home, or your workplace, or in any appropriate and clean.
I was always thoughtful when facing Mecca in these prayers, – this invisible city in distant Arabia, and hope that one day, taking health and media, you would perform the pilgrimage. Occasionally you’ve heard the story of a pilgrim who had been fulfilling to visit the holy city, and this story will always been the same, Muslims from the four corners of the world who gathered there. If you’ve traveled the world because of business or travel, you’ve seen how it changed the direction of the prayer niche in every mosque you visited. In India and Pakistan for example are facing west, in North Africa and America facing the east. In Syria and Turkey, southwards, while in Yemen and East Africa to the north are targeted faithful to pray. This brings together, men-in their thoughts and actions, – five times a day. When time came you marry, you felt the need to assume greater responsibilities. As in other solemn moments of your life, consult with your family members, telling them that wanted to have a companion. If her family and yours family practitioners were Muslims, not just Muslims sign-then your wife was also such, and so raising their children according to your mother taught you, to live in fear of God; prudent manners. The couple brought home the human longing for partnership and fellowship, and the duty incumbent on every man to fulfill their obligations towards his wife, his children and his community. Marriage is a contract, which you must honor, both before God and the world and within yourself.
Non-Muslims sometimes tend to laugh and make comments on the Islamic marriage – and that is because they do not understand what it is. Think that Muslims seek straight to four wives, and his first question a Muslim will play this point, and each discussion will of this matter – as if our mind would take more than theirs. Hidden polygamy practiced in the form of having loved and go to brothels may be a western standard, but it is totally alien to Islam. The Islárn not subscribe to any kind of conflict with the law relationships, such as single mothers and single parents. They are ways to avoid the responsibilities of life. Muslims consider marriage as a sacred and serious, and always recognize all their children and seek to fulfill their responsibilities towards them, to keep them, their education, their moral guidance and initiation to life. These Muslims honor the marriage ceremony because it is the very foundation of their society.
Similarly, outsiders seem to be very interested in Islamic Paradise, and know from now, contribute to women who have found there, while the Muslims look to heaven for being a shady spot crossed by streams and where good men and women must be until the end of time.
0 soul quiet, back to your Lord, pleased, pleased! Sign in with My servants, enter into My Paradise! (The Aurora 89:27-30)
It is there that we hope to arrive, when will end life on this earth, and every man shall receive his just reward. Allah is Compadeciente, as we ought to be; He does not demand the impossible:
“Allah only requires a soul what it can bear.” (The Cow 2:286)
Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times their value. Whoever comes with an evil deed will be rewarded only in value, and they will not be wronged. (The Cattle 6:161)
We take care of ourselves, because we do not believe in strict predestination, which we earnestly want to carry some non-Muslim authors, the same Prophet said once to a man who had an exaggerated idea of the protection of Allah “Tie your camel, then trust in Allah.” It also teaches us to be kind to our enemies: “Return evil with something better! – (The Believers 23:96) also teaches us to engage in Jihad. Jihad literally means struggle in the way of Allah. This effort can be moral, mental or physical and should serve to make the word of Allah reign. covers a broad spectrum of activities, ranging from fighting their own ugly attitudes to enroll in war in the cause of Allah. Allah reminds us in his book. “You must believe in Allah and His Prophet and strive in His way with your property and person, it will be better for you, if only succeed to understand.” ‘(The Line of Battle 61:11). We are taught, in addition, tolerance, our book says: “No Revile to those outside of God, pray, can injure Allah, without realizing it (The Cattle 6:109)
Our book, the Qur’an teaches us these truths. Is a document that Allah revealed to our Prophet Muhammad when he was upset by the immorality of its people. Through the book did it out of the worship of their many pictures and taught to focus their faith in one God, in God alone;
“My Lord has led me to a straight path to a set route, the path of Abraham, the law, he was an associate other gods with Allah.” (The Cattle 6:162)
This book is packed with inspiring episodes, and includes true on a broad scale, you can follow the spiritual and political struggles of Muhammad in their dark moments and days of victory and joy. Enhances our faith in the important moments of our lives and will help us to bear our sorrows, when we pray:
“In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. I seek refuge in the Lord of men, King of men, to the damage that gossip furtive whispers in the hearts of men before the jinn and men. ” (Men 1144-6)
Life is hard sometimes, but it can be really beautiful. The difficulties and evil, because we consider them as part of the inescapable conditions of our existence, should not turn into something unbearable life, or have to remove the meaning of virtue, and let the happiness out of reach. Men and women can achieve a beautifully made, out of adversity – as travelers arriving from the cold night to an inn, warm and bright, or as sailors saved a tremendous time, finding a moment of quiet time. We are fortunate merely to be alive and free from distress, and we want to laugh and act on our good manners. Everywhere we feel the presence of God, expressed in this generic concept that guides us throughout our lives:
”EL, Allah-there is no God but Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither drowsiness nor sleep seize Him, To Him belongs whatever is in heaven and on earth. Who intercede with Him but by His permission? Know what’s in front and behind the men, and these range of his science only what he wants, His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and does not cause fatigue conservation of both. The is the Sublime, the Almighty.”(The Beef 2:255)
Other episodes leading great majesty: “If all the trees found in the earth were pens, and sea, plus seven more seas, were ink, writing is exhausted, but the words of Allah is not exhausted. Allah is Almighty , Wise.”(Luqman 31:27)
Well, we find strength in our din is commonly designated by “religion.” Religion does not translate the full meaning of what you mean din. Is an attitude and a way of seeing and guide the various aspects of life. Islam brings salam, or ‘peace’ in our lives. A Muslim is literally someone who made his peace with Allah. Islam permeates us a deeply spiritual soul. By that I mean we learn to find the unknown of the universe with reverence and humanity, tolerance, and we accept our fate with gratitude and fortitude. We believe in the Oneness of God who governs the affairs of the universe.
In another prayer to Allah is described as follows:
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful:
Say: Allah is unique. Allah-Power everything! Not engendered or been begotten, and has no one alike. ” (The Oneness 112:14)
And our faith has built a magnificent culture when most of the world, the West above all, going by what you say the Middle Ages. In those days, Islam was the unifying force in civilization that reached from the borders of China to the Pyrenees. We are proud of our faith and culture, and appreciate. Our future does not scare us, because we have fallen low and we have reinstated. Currently, if God allows, we again be a moral force in the world. We are grateful to be Muslims, for God is bigger than us, and through the move by the world. All that comes to mind when someone asks, how it feels, having been born as a Muslim.
