History of Islam. Chapter II

One Islam in several messages through history

The Prophet Muhammad said: “The prophets are sons of one father and several mothers. The father is God who sent us and the various societies where mothers are born. “

These words remind us of an interesting phenomenon: There are several monotheistic religions that claim to follow God’s messengers and they have different laws.

This is because in different periods of human history God has sent messengers and messages for men to recognize their Creator and Lord, the God of Heaven and Earth.

The couriers have died after their preaching and their messages were kept by the disciples or apostles, but over time the messages have been changed and altered by people without scruples or morals who exploit religion for material gain. The truth is that from time to time God sent another messenger to renew and confirm the previous message for humanity is not lost in ignorance of God and truth.

God said:

Your Lord would never destroy any people who have acted unfairly without having sent messengers to warn them. Each will be paid according to what was done, and thy Lord is not unmindful of what they do. (Quran 6:131,132)

We did not destroy any city without first having sent who warn them. To reflect, as we are not oppressors. (26:208,209).
