For centuries, man was unable to study the phenomena, because it possessed sufficient scientific means. Currently only the numerous verses of the Quran deal with natural phenomena that had become completely understandable. I would even say that in the 20 th century, with its scope of incessant increase in knowledge is not always easy for the average scientist to understand everything you read in the Quran about such issues, without specialized research resources. This means that to understand one of all the verses of the Koran are currently requires an encyclopedic knowledge whatsoever, ie one that encompasses many disciplines. I use the word “science” to mean “knowledge” that has been established sound an. This does not include the theories that, for a time, help explain a phenomenon or a series of phenomena, only to be abandoned later in favor of explanations that have become more plausible, thanks to scientific progress. I basically try to compare between statements in the Qur’an and knowledge, which is also subject to the object of discussion. Wherever scientific facts come in, they are not set at 100%, I leave you, surely this quite clear.
There are also some very rare examples of statements in the Quran, which have not yet been confirmed by modern science to refer to this point all evidence led scientists to consider them as they are quite likely. An example is the statement in the Qur’an that life is of aquatic origin, and another is that somewhere in the Universe are Earth-like planets. These scientific considerations should not, however, make us forget that the Qur’an remains a religious book par excellence and can not, of course, be expected to have a purpose “science” alone. Wherever man is invited to reflect on the work of creation and the many natural phenomena can be observed, the obvious intent to use such examples, is to press the divine Omnipotence. The fact that these reflections find allusions to data connected to scientific knowledge is surely another of God’s gifts whose value must shine in an era where scientifically based atheism seeks to gain control materialism at the expense of belief in God.
Through my research I have constantly tried to remain totally objective. I think I’ve succeeded in studying the Koran rapprochement with the same objectivity that a doctor is when you open the file of a patient. In other words, carefully compare all the symptoms that you can find to reach the diagnosis. I must admit that it certainly was not a faith in Islam that first guided me in my steps, but a simple search for truth. This is how I see it now. It was mainly a fact that, by the time I finished my study has led me to see a text in the Quran revealed to a prophet.
Examine statements in the Qur’an that seem to register today only scientific truth, but that men in primitive times were only able to understand the apparent meaning. How is it possible to imagine that there was any subsequent alterations to the texts, these obscure passages scattered through the text that the Koran were able to escape human manipulation? The slightest alteration to the text would be automatically destroyed the remarkable consistency that is characteristic of them, and prevent us from establishing its conformity with modern knowledge. The presence of these statements scattered throughout the Qur’an seem to an impartial observer as a seal of authenticity.
The Qur’an is a doctrine that was made to meet the man in the course of the revelation that hardly lasted 20 years. Was divided into 2 equal periods of time also on the side of the Hegira. In view of this, it was natural for reflections having a scientific aspect to be scattered throughout the book. In the case of a study as it was made, we had to regroup them according to topic, selecting Sura by Sura.
How should they be classified? I could not find indications in the Quran to suggest any classification. So I decided to present them according to my personal opinion.
I thought the first issue to be addressed is that of Creation. Here you can compare the verses referring to this topic with the general ideas prevalent today on the formation of the universe. Then, I divided the lines under the following general ideas: Astronomy, Earth, animal and plant kingdoms, Man, and particularly human reproduction, this is an issue that, in the Koran, is assigned a very important place. These general titles may give subtitles.
Moreover, I thought it would be useful to make a comparison between biblical and Koranic story from the point of view of modern knowledge. This has been done in the case of subjects as the Creation, the Flood and the Exodus.
