PART OF THE POOR

PILLAR OF ISLAM

God Almighty has set the zakat to all Muslims and have been ordered to observe it in many verses of Al-Quran

“And fulfill the prayer, practice Al-Zakat and what you will have fulfilled well for yourselves, you shall return to find God. He is clairvoyant.”

“And fulfill the prayer. Behold, Al-Zakat. Worshiping God. What you will have fulfilled well in advance, for yourselves what all return to God to find happiness in the form of a reward or May.”

“Be assiduous in prayer, give Al-Zakat, practice fasting for God. He is your Lord, Lord, excellent, excellent Protector”

The Zakat is mentioned in 32 verses of Al-Quran. Most of the time is referred to the prayer, which demonstrates the importance that the al-Quran.

God has promised to those who meet the zakat a great reward, as claimed by the following verses:

“Those who perform the prayer and give Al-Zakat, those who believe in Allah and the Last Judgement, We will give a great reward”

… And there is perhaps a better reward that God’s mercy?

“My mercy embraces, all I dedicate to those that I fear that, given Al-Zakat and believe in Our signs.”

“The believing men and women are masters of themselves. They order what they should, and forbid what is reprehensible. They are steadfast in prayer, give Al-Zakat, obey Allah and His Prophet. Of God have mercy. In Allah is Mighty, wise. “

As for those who do not practice regular charity, a severe punishment is reserved for them:

“Say: I am only a man like you who receives revelation. But your God is One God; obedecedle, and ask forgiveness

“Woe to the polytheists who do not practice Al-Zakat and do not believe in doomsday.”

“Woe to those who pray but are neglectful in their prayers, which make for ostentation, and who deny Al-Zakat.”

“As to those who hoard gold and silver and not lavish. In the path of God, proclaim it a painful punishment. The day will burn in hell fire and burning brands that will be on their foreheads, their sides and their backs, they say, Behold what you have accumulated. Taste now what you have hoarded. “

For “gold and silver” should be understood as goods which was not booked a party to zakat. The term does not apply to goods which have been removed one hand to the zakat.

“Those who are covetous of what God has given to their grants, which do not have that will be better, because they will be worse. On the day of resurrection they will carry around the neck, by way of necklaces, that of which have been greedy “

The zakat, as evidenced by Al-Quran, is also one of the conditions to be accepted the repentance of the polytheists and cease hostilities against them:

“When the sacred months have passed Slay the idolaters. Where you find them. Take them, besiege them, let them ambush to arrest them. But if they repent, if you are steadfast in prayer, if they pay Al-Zakat, let them go their way. Indeed, God forgives. He is compassionate. “

As evidenced by this verse, is also proof of the conversion of the polytheists to Islam and the establishment of the ties of brotherhood between them and other Muslims:

“But if they repent, if they perform the prayer and Al-Zakat, they are your brethren in religion.”

The Prophet Muhammad (prayers and peace of God be upon him) has advised, the practice of zakat in many hadith (traditions of the Prophet). It is reported that she went to a group of people, said:

“Oh you. The Archangel Gabriel was sent me by my Lord in my dream and says: Oh Muhammad’s prayer of one who does not practice Al-Zakat is not received. And Al-Zakat who does not pray is not received. He who forbids people practicing Al-Zakat is in eternal fire as he who does not practice “

In another hadith Muhammad mentioned that zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam: “Islam is built upon five pillars:”Al-chah ‘(affirmation of belief in one God, who is the prophet Muhammad , prayer, al-zakat, fasting during Ramadan and the pilgrimage to Mecca”)

That is why when Muhammad sent his messengers to preach Islam, he advised people to invite God to brown, then to practice regular charity, taking the fortunes of the rich to give to the poor. Here’s what he told Muaz when he sent him to Yemen: “You are you going to a people who have received the Bible. Invite them to worship God first and when they have done, let them know that God imposes Al-Zakat, taken from the rich to be distributed to the poor. If they obey, accept Al-Zakat of the people, serving the complaint of those who suffer injustice, between her and God since there is no barrier”

Whoever denies the obligation to pay the poor is an infidel who must repent or be punished as an apostate. Abu-Baker,”he kill Ahl-Al-Reddah”(apostates who had refused to pay the zakat):”For ‘God said, if they reject a measure of what they paid to the prophet, I will declare war.” And they declared war, saying:”By God, I will fight those who spread the prayer of Al-Zakat.”

Zakat CLASSIFICATION

We distinguish two types of zakat:

1.

FETRA””Al-Zakat (religious festival that takes place at the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting), also called Zakat al-Badan”.”
2.

Zakat Al-Mal””or property.

A) “Zakat Al-FETRA ‘”

Muhammad ordered that “Zakat Al-FETRA” or “Zakat Al-Badan” was observed in the very year that fasted in the month of Ramadan.

A day or two before “AI-FETRA” the Prophet said. Addressing the Muslims, “Give a measure of wheat or a measure of dates, or oats, as ye may be free or slave, young or old.”

Al-Bukhari and Muslim state: “The Prophet has prescribed for” Al-Zakat Al-FETRA “a measure of dates, or oats, the slave or freeman, male or female young or old.”

Who to Watch “Al-Zakat Al-FETRA”

“Zakat Al-FETRA” is imposed on every free Muslim who possesses the sum of Al-Zakat, after having secured their livelihoods, those who are in charge, wife, children, servants and those who sail on , relatives and others.

HIS AMOUNT:

The zakat is a measure of dates or oat, wheat or rice, corn or an article which feed on most of the people, paid by each individual. It must also be intending to practice regular charity, then it has no price than by intention.

That would currently amount to 10 piastres per person.

The sect of the Hanafites allowed to pay the imposed, in kind and thus deemed preferable and more profitable for the poor: this allows them to procure the things that really they need is food or medicine.

Time. should practice regular charity:

All theologians agree that the end of the month of Ramadan is the time to be delivered “Zakat Al-FETRA.” But they differ in regard to time: it is at the time of sunset, which precedes the, night, “FETRA” or the early hours of the party? One thing is certain: You must meet before leaving home to go to the place of prayer.

Ibn Omar says: “The Prophet has commanded us to deliver” Zakat Al-FETRA “before people go to go to prayer meeting.” But it is permitted to deliver a day or two before the date, the feast of “FETRA.”

Other theologians judge that it is possible to deliver early in the month of Ramadan. In any case, is strictly prohibited, slow it up after the party, because in that case would become a “Sadaka” (alms).

Is attributed to Ibn Abbas the interpretation that the Prophet has ordered “Zakat Al-FETRA” eat a purification for the fasting and fed to the poor. That is why, performed before prayer, Al-Zakat is valid and practiced, after the prayer, it becomes a “Sadako.”

A delay in the practice of Zakat Al-FETRA “Muslim does not exempt compliance. This remains an obligation for Muslims, to be met prior to the day of the trial, final repentance is worthless and that the goods of the earth are not at your fingertips.

Advantages of “Zakat Al-FETRA”

“AI-FETRA Zakat” has advantages for the practice it and to the society.

The practitioner is purified awning which would have been tarnishing his fasts, such as frivolous acts or indecent purposes, which must be saved who refrains from eating, drinking, and the sin of the flesh. Rare are those that can be preserved, so the obligatory charity was established to purify those who fast and remedy weaknesses they might have had. Probably this is the meaning of these words of the Prophet:

“The fasting month of Ramadan remains suspended between heaven and earth. Does not rise to heaven rather than AI-FETRA Zakat.

“Zakat Al-FETRA” is also a must for everyone, young or old, free or slaves living under the authority of one who fasts. That is why it is called also “Zakat Al-Badan” or zakat of the body.

This has been done to God’s plan: keep the bodies that have been carried out, purify and improve them. This is the meaning of this verse: “Take from their wealth, Sadaka (charity) to purify and deliver it without blemish.”

Among the benefits that society receives from “Zakat Al-FETRA” citase this: can the poor on that day to evade the humiliation of being in need. This advantage is mentioned in the Traditions of the Prophet, “Make them rich that day” or: “Relevadlos of the need for begging on that day.”

The second advantage is that rich and poor that day feel the same joy, which shall not be exclusive to the wealthy.

In addition, the poor receiving alms, becomes rich that day. Then he tries to practice her, once the charity for its own sake and the sake of those who are in their care. He will realize that it is also a benefactor feel the joy of giving and get used to feel, even in rare moments, he practices charity and not the recipient.

B) “Zakat Al-Mal”

Condition: To comply “Zakat Al-Mal” must be:

1.

Muslim. The unbeliever does not pay the zakat.
2.

Free. The slaves do not pay zakat
3.

If there is more tax, the lower, is a property and the guardian should be deducted from their income.
4.

Sane. If it is not imposed, the alienated, it is their property, and the guardian must deduct income thereof.
5.

In possession of wealth that require the payment of zakat.
6.

Subject to taxation: it is necessary that the statutory period has expired for imposing the Zakat. The same is set at one year or twelve lunar months, except for crops and fruit: the day of harvest or collection is considered the, date of Zakat. Such is the meaning of this verse of Al-Quran

“Eat of their fruits if they produce, but because you give them the day of collection.”

The goods subject to “Zakat Al-Mal”

1) “Al-Niam” or livestock, comprising: camels, cows, buffaloes, sheep and goats. The zakat is not performed on other animal species, except those that are traded, the zakat, then it is practicable for the trade itself.

The zakat is due if the animals graze the grass in the fields, which reduces costs and contributes greatly to increased litter, the weight of the meat and her milk supply, requiring no care or expense.

But if the livestock is fed in the barn, is exempt from zakat, from the moment that expense and effort required. As for working cattle in fields, such as that used to pull the plow or irrigate the land, is subject to zakat. The zakat due on crops also includes that which is due on animals working in the fields.

Here are the parts of “Zakat Al-Niam”

a) Zakat due on camels:

From five camels, the Zakat becomes obligatory on those animals. If a person has that number, you must give as, zakat, a sheep for every five camels and so on to reach the twenty-five camels, at this ratio. Then be added to the zakat a camel from one year to exceed this, quantity.

If you have thirty-six camels, include a camel for two years. And be three years if the number is forty-six camels. Have five years if that number rises to sixty-one. But if fortune reaches sixty-six camels. Zakat must be added to two camels for two years.

Of ninety-one hundred and twenty camels, camels must be added two to three years.

If fortune exceeds that amount, forty camels add a camel additional two years, and additional fifty camels, a camel for three years.

b) Zakat due on cows:

From thirty cows, the Zakat on these animals is required, the person who owns that number should give a calf a year. If the number reaches forty, should give one to two years. If the amount exceeds forty cows, cows should be given for thirty additional one calf a year, and for forty, a calf of two years.

c) zakat due on herds:

The zakat is due on herds from forty animals. If you have that number, there must be a female, a sheep, if it consists, for lambs, a goat, if it’s goats. If a flock of sheep and goats, the female will belong to the dominant species, if the number, the herd stands at one hundred twenty-one, should be included two females, three females, if it reaches two hundred one. It adds a female for every hundred sheep or goats. additional.

2 – The zakat due on gold and silver:

The zakat is due on gold and silver if they reach a certain amount. The gold is twenty “chanterelle.

The “chanterelle” equivalent to approximately dinar. Can be calculated in twelve Egyptian pounds.

For silver, you need two hundred “dirhams”, or about six Egyptian pounds.

For the zakat is compulsory, there must be at least one year after the possession of such property.

The zakat is not due, if these metals are in the form of bars or jewelry, except for the sect of the Hanafites. The tax payable for the zakat due on gold, and silver-equivalent to one tenth, or the two and a half percent of its value.

Is linked to the zakat due on gold and silver, the fee due on trade. She would also fourth, tenth, or the two and a half percent of the capital invested in trade.

3 – The zakat due on crops and fruits:

The zakat is obligatory also on crops and fruits. Is imposed on cereals: wheat and barley, and the fruits of date palm and the vine. If production reaches four “ardebs” Egyptians and two “Cayla” the amount offered is equal to half of the tenth, if the land is irrigated by machines, since they involve some costs. But if the grains grow. due to rainwater or sources, the amount to give should be at one tenth of crops and fruits.

Exceptions:

Are exempt from zakat, housing, personal effects, furniture, weapons, jewelry such as pearls, rubies, emeralds and other non-traded, as well as books, and tools make a living, such as pliers, hammer, etc., a variety of weights and measures,

USE OF zakat

Al-Quran has determined the recipients. verse, following

“The alms are only for the poor, the needy, those who work for this (the collectors), those whose hearts are meeting, those who are in slavery and debtors, to (fight) in the path of God and the traveler. Imposition of God. God is omniscient and wise. “

“Al-Fukará” (the poor) are those who do not have enough to practice regular charity, or who are not required to live during the year.

“Al-Masakin” (the needy), as opinions differ. whether the needy or the poor are the most disadvantaged, some say the need is one who possesses nothing, others say that those whose impotence is due to age, illness, makes it unable to earn their bread.

Those who work for this: the collectors of zakat. They are appointed by the head of government to that effect, Among them are workers and officials, all are paid according to their respective work.

Those whose hearts are united: they are tribal leaders who head the government deems necessary to collect donations for the cause of Islam. The Prophet has distributed alms colleagues and the prey to achieve the objectives relating to the expansion of Islam, or to prevent a disaster threatening the Muslims. During his caliphate, Abu-Bakr stopped to deliver the zakat on the advice of Omar, who gave him to understand that this privilege was temporary as the needs of Islam, and how God had established Islam there was no longer needed to gather them for donations. Some theologians believe that the head of government has the right to collect donations until the Last Judgement. If he thinks he is in the interest of Islam to give the zakat to collect hearts, this is legal.

Those who are in bondage: the liberation of slaves and the improvement of their status. The days of slavery has been passed.

Debtors: those with heavy debts and do not have that cover (a condition that is, debt is not the result of an act, immoral).

For the struggle in the path of God those who have dedicated themselves to fighting and holy war, in the way of God and the righteous deeds that meet the interests of religion.

The traveler is a foreigner who is away from their property as a consequence of a legitimate travel, but was rich in his country.

Conditions for the one who receives zakat:

Is required for any of those who receive the zakat of the above categories, the condition of being Muslim, free, no membership or those of Banu-Hachim. or those of Banu Al-Muttalib, and one of his freedmen. It is necessary, whichever is greater, in full possession of his faculties and know have the zakat that is due.

It is desirable by those eight categories. If this is confusing, the Imam or the Head of State may make a distinction between them.

The zakat is limited to where that is the source of wealth.

The intention of giving is essential. It is not necessary to advertise. This is so hateful, it hurts the feelings of the poor and gives an awareness of their poverty and humiliation.

THE LAW OF THE STATE TO RECEIVE THE zakat and invest

AI-Qur’an mentions in several verses that the Zakat is a duty to fulfill:

“Give the right neighbor, and, as the needy and the wayfarer, and do not waste your good.”

“Give it due to others, the needy, the traveler. It is a good for those who wish to see the face of God, and they will be blessed.”

“What you give to usury to increase the well, men do not grow with God. But what give the zakat forward to seeing the face!” Of God, they will double. “

“Verily, those who fear God will be among gardens and springs, taking that which the Lord hath made. Before, they would have been, among benefactors. Soon, at night, slept. As dawn breaks begged forgiveness. Of his assets, a share for the beggar and the destitute. “

“Except for the believers who are diligent in their prayers and on whose property has been granted a right for the beggar and the destitute poor.”

It is noteworthy that the amount must be paid. To ensure payment, the Prophet (prayers and peace of God will be upon him) ensured the collection of zakat through which he named. The verse that determines who is quoted for the Zakat to those who are responsible for collecting, ie collectors. It is true that most of those who were apostates after the Prophet’s death, did so to refuse to perform the zakat.

The fact that Abu-Bakr, the successor of the Prophet, has been ordered to fight them, confirmed that the zakat is a right which the State must perceive and punish those who must comply.

With regard to the distribution of zakat, the Prophet was in charge of circulation, himself among the Muslims, as needed, so that individuals and groups withdrew the most benefit.

A verse of Al-Qur’an confirms:

“Among them are some who criticize you (Prophet) with respect to the handouts. If they receive it are pleased, but if you do not get get angry. That they are not satisfied with what God and His Prophet have given, for Why not have said: God and His Prophet give us a little favor. To God goes our desire? “

This verse teaches us that the hypocrites were unhappy when they received their share of the zakat and satisfied if they received, and that was the Pro feta who distributed to all income from zakat.

The zakat was one of the main sources of income of the Islamic state. Was distributed according to the verse that limited delivery to the eight categories.

It is therefore important to pay zakat to the state represented by, bodies created to perceive. This allows increasing prosperity and better proceed wing distribution. Because, given the present increase in population, its many concerns and continuous movements, it is difficult to know the status of others to decide if he is poor, needy or, beggar … Often we see the true man, able to earn their bread, acts in a way or another herd obtain alms. So, do not always get one who really deserves it.

But the state that looks after the interests of all, can by its institutions, discerning individuals communities and pay the poor deserve more than others. Moreover, investment property, rather than keep on waiting for the chance to deliver, the increasing and will bear fruit for the benefit of all.

The industrialization of a developing country, its economy will contribute, in turn, to the prosperity of the entire community, and the prosperity that tends toward the poor-rate, trying to provide work to the unemployed. It is clear that unemployment is a cause of poverty, if not the, predominant cause.

Moreover, this will increase the power of the state and will increase its prestige, in such a way that the prosperity encompasses the individual, society and state. The Islamic state has persevered in the perception of zakat through, officials designated for that purpose, after the death of the Prophet, the, order of Abu-Bakr, to fight “Ahl el-Radda (apostates), confirms the that in time the State was receiving regular charity, as some refused to practice. This state of things continued under the leadership of Omar, as certified by a passage of his speech where he refers to zakat:

“I am obliged not to lay you, feel of your property than what God has prescribed in this regard. Furthermore, I am obligated to make these goods, once in my possession, lavished not only on where it’s due” .

This confirms that the caliph, was authorized to collect the zakat and took care of distribution. The same thing happened during the reign of Osman to his assassination. Then, the Muslims and not all agreed. Some paid for “Beit el-Mal (treasury).

Inquire history that Omar Ibn Abdel-Aziz sent his officers receive the zakat and distributed it himself. Yehia Ibn-Saad said in this regard:

“Omar Ibn Abdel-Aziz sent me to Africa to collect the zakat. I did. Then I asked how poor receive it. No, I found no poor and did not find any person to receive, Omar Ibn Abdel-Aziz had enriched to the whole population. So, I bought and freed slaves. “

No text, supported as strongly as Al-Quran treasury right to receive the zakat. In verse relative to the distribution of zakat is said that those who administer it are entitled to a part. It is clear that those who administer it are the collectors that the State, appointed for that purpose.

Zakat GOALS

The zakat tends to the welfare of the Islamic state, both the individual and the community.

Regarding individuals, the zakat is dedicated to the poor, the needy and the wayfarer.

Regarding the community, besides the fact that the welfare of the individual, is reflected in the community, the zakat has another advantage: it gives those debts.

As for the general welfare of the state, is obtained by ensuring a decent life for individuals through the zakat, and earmarking a portion of the property to be lavished on the path of God. It is clear that the welfare state “is met by the Muslim attachment to the religion of God and do through those whose hearts are united and to whom the zakat has reserved its benefits.

There is no doubt that poverty is the most important problem facing the individual in his life. All countries, however different they are, suffer from it. The poor living within a community rich d, whose members do not respond to your requests offering what would live and end their poverty. feeling of deprivation that will lead to hate society and its members. The bulk of crimes have their origin in poverty. When the poor have the impression of being an outcast abandoned to their own devices, then feel hatred against the rich who refuse their money. The revolutions that have taken place in each country were due especially to poverty, and the feeling that the poor had to be some stragglers in the evolution of society.

Even on the international scene, we find that among the main causes of war is: the desire of nations to ensure the welfare and prosperity of peoples, through the extension and improvement of economic living standards. To ensure the poor the means to live, states have experienced different regimes that try to ensure the welfare of the citizens insured against poverty.

Capitalism seeks to bring the goods by all means and concentrating, thinking that wealth will reach its members through the funds, is a means to raise the level of the state, while securing jobs for individuals. But the result was the domination of capital and the deprivation of a dignified life in certain classes of society.

Moreover, communism, in his essay to protect the community from poverty, individual ownership has been abolished, thus opposing the dictates of Muslim law.

Other schemes were born under the name of fascism, socialism, etc. All have expected the fight against poverty and an easier life for the needy.

All these schemes do not rise to the level of the system has been instituted Muslim! cooperative socialism through zakat practicing who are able to do so. Give one specific portion of what, it exists, is socialism, give it willingly and well, is the cooperation level.

The zakat is also a means of preventing the spread of doctrines which excite the envy of the rich, is a means of establishing love and friendship among members of the community: poor and rich live in the shadow of cooperative socialist regime.

Al-Quran has stated that the zakat collectors have, they, too, the right to benefit from it. This would tend to develop honesty and integrity in the hearts, fight corruption and encourage the work.

A portion of the property of zakat is reserved for those who are linked. The Prophet, guided by a wise policy, gives assets to achieve a noble purpose: to save the Muslims from their mistakes and gain their support

Under the caliphate of Abu Bakr, Omar cease proclaims these gifts when they had no reason to be, because Islam had spread, and the situation of Muslims had been alleged.

Nowadays, we have the need for understanding of influential people in the domain, serving international Islamic cause especially as we are in the century of propaganda.

This also implies all the means which will serve the State, to spread the teachings of Islam outside their area, such as print, broadcast and distribution of goods and works written by Muslims or non Muslims, demonstrating excellence of Islam.

Islam has preached the liberation of slaves. To this effect has reserved a portion of zakat revenues to abolish slavery in order to create a liberal community, whose members enjoy the freedom widely.

Another advantage of Islam is the decision to pay a portion of zakat to the debtor, meaning that, for those whose debt has devoured their fortunes, without, have committed a sin. It is a disgrace to be a rich betrayed by fate to the point of becoming a debtor, or a noble battered by time to be a need. These people have a right to welfare and support, since they deserve pity. Perhaps they were not well regarded in his circle before knowing the misery? The community is paying the debts of those people and show kindness to his respect, is a perfect and healthy community.

Such is the Muslim community.

A portion of zakat is dedicated to do everything possible in the path of God. This means their own military preparations to defend the Muslim state.

As travelers, who as a result of their journey they meet far from home, and can not get that back, the zakat is reserved for them to fulfill this noble human endeavor.

The zakat is also contributing to the moral satisfaction of the individual who feels that thanks to the goods that freely, participate in building society and contributes to the welfare of, its members rejoices at the smiling faces and happy surrounding it. Consequently, his soul is purified, his heart knows the quiet and free of anxiety and confusion. The psychologist Driessen has written:

“If the man wants out of life, true joy, not only contribute to the happiness of others. The individual’s happiness lies in the happiness of others and the other resting on his.”

In addition, the zakat liberates the individual from the domination of wealth, that domain which leads man to the “sickness and sometimes even suicide. Raise money and jealously guarded are the symptoms of his illness. The only active means to combat this disease are generosity and charity. The first symptom of this greed is the voluntary renunciation of an honorable life and goes to the neglect of family and religion.

What happened to Tha’laba Ibn Khatib is a compelling example. One day the Prophet went Tha’er saying

- O Prophet of God, pray to the Almighty. That give me property.

- OH Tha’laba, he said, so little do you thank you is much better than how much you could not manage.

For the second time Tha’laba met the Prophet, who said:

- You would not want to be you as the Prophet of God? If I wished that the mountains are transformed into mountains of gold, would be transformed.

Tha’laba said

- By Him who sent you to preach the truth if rogarais to God to give me real, I would give to each his due.

The Prophet prayed for him.

Tha’laba bought sheep, they have multiplied so quickly that in Medina and had no place. When their wealth is increased there, he joined the prayer, noon to pm and neglected the others. The herd continued to grow. Then, disdained these two prayers and contented himself with the Friday, and then forgot it when the herd also increased tenfold.

The Prophet said:

“Woe to you, oh Tha’laba!” and repeated it thrice. So these verses were revealed to Al-Quran

“There were among them who had made this commitment before God, when we remember His grace, certainly give alms and we shall certainly be among the righteous.

And when they agreed to the gifts of His grace, they were greedy, turned and walked away.

So He made hypocrisy into their hearts, until the day they found him, because they have forgotten God after being committed to Him, and have lied.

Do not know, perhaps, that God knows their secrets and thoughts and has the knowledge of things invisible. “

When: Tha’laba knew that verse, the Prophet turned to bringing the zakat. The Prophet said: “God has forbidden me, accept it.”

Prophet died without accepting the zakat of Tha’laba caliphs Abu Bakr, Omar and Osman, followed suit. Tha’laba died under the reign of the latter, devoured by the passion of wealth. It had stopped praying and not resign himself to paying the zakat until he learned what had been revealed in Al-Quran on it. The zakat to offer was not accepted and only God knows his punishment after death.

No: no more effective means to safeguard the zakat man from the tyranny of wealth, whose power is enhanced as it grows.

The zakat not, is a gift or charity, but a well-defined obligation. Quad poor receive it, feel it is the duty of brotherhood and the Muslim law has on the Muslim poor rich. Also enjoys the advantage of being due once a year on a fixed date. Only fruits and crops are due in mature. The setting of this date is an advantage. If zakat was due every day, every week or every month, hurt by capital and would be paid willingly. In addition, pay a once in a lifetime would not be appropriate for the poor who receive it.

The small amount imposed as zakat can participate in its implementation to most people, which contributes to the love and friendship among the different members of the community.

The zakat is one of the most powerful factor in the distribution of wealth, its movement across the different classes and the creation of new fortunes.

Many foreign scholars have recognized the virtue of almsgiving. Luis Masignon has said that Islam had enough authority to decide the implementation of the concept of equality, requiring each individual paying zakat to the Treasury.

Islam is opposed to hoarding. to usury, indirect taxes on essential commodities. At the same time supports the individual property and commercial capital. Islam stands for between bourgeois capitalism and Soviet communism.

Here are some points concerning zakat, or aims “AI-Zakat.” The good that results from it encompasses the individual, the community and the state, both private and public sector … And it’s natural for the moment that the Zakat is a system defined by God, and approved by him in the last of religions. As a reward for Zakat, is reached in the afterlife to those who practice it.

Thus, the zakat, horn the Islamic rules and practices, sees the good of man in this world and their just reward in the other.

“Indeed, the Al-Quran leads to righteousness and announce good news to the believers who do good deeds, so that will have a great reward.”
