Anas (radialláhu ‘anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu’ alayhi wa sallam) said: “On the night of Qadr, Jibreel (‘aleihis salaam) descended to earth with a group of angels imploring blessings on all the servants of Allah that are offering acts of worship to Allah. Then, on the day of Eid, Allah is proud of them against his angels, saying: “” Oh angels! What is the reward of the servant who has done well with their work ? “they answer,” O our Lord! His reward should be complete, “then Allah will answer:; Oh my angels! My servants and servants have fulfilled their obligation, then have gone to the place of prayer and have raised their voices in prayer to Me. I swear by My Honor, by My Grace and My Greatness, I will answer your prayers. “Then Allah will say: (motions to the people) Come back, I forgive your sins and turned their mistakes in good works.” Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Those who return from the place of prayer have been forgiven.”
Commentary
The coming of Jibreel (`aleihis sallam) with the Angels has been narrated in the Quran and in other ahadith. In the last hadith in this book, a detailed mention is made about Jibreel (‘aleihis salam), who commands the angels who go to the homes of people who are worshiping in dhikr or other’ ibadah to shake hands. It is narrated in the book “Gáliatul Mawáidh” al Guniah of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (rahmatulláhi ‘alayhi) is narrated in a hadith of Ibn’ Abbas (radialláhu `Anhumas) that the angels are dispersed by order of Jibreel (‘ aleihis sallam) to go to each house, big or small, in the jungle or on a ship, where there is a Christian worship Allah Ta’ala and shake hands. However, do not enter into some houses, for example where there are dogs or pigs, where someone is in a state of janaabah (major ritual impurity) because of adultery or fornication or in the homes where they are images of people or animals.
What is regrettable is that in the homes of many Muslims, angels can not enter, because in them images of people or animals, but are only there for decoration? Just because a single image that has been made by someone in the house, this is a means by which not only who put it, but every person in the household, will be deprived of the angels of mercy.
