To be Muslim is to submit to God, to believe in the absolute oneness of God. He is the only Creator, wise and powerful, etc … However, this belief called “Tawhid Al-Rububiyah” is insufficient. There were many idolaters knew and believed that the only and supreme God could be all this, but it was enough to make them Muslims. The term “Tawheed Al-Rububiyah” it should be added that says “Tawhid al uluhiya”, ie, that God alone deserves worship Him, and therefore must abstain from worshiping anything else and anyone else.
Once acquired this knowledge of the existence of one true God, man must constantly keep their trust in Him, should avoid anything that will drag to deny the truth.
From the moment that faith enters a person’s heart to create changes in the states of mind which will result in certain actions. If we consider as a “whole” these states of mind and deeds, it will be the test of true faith. The prophet said: “Faith is that which remains rooted in the heart and is confirmed by the act.”
In fact, these states of mind is a feeling of gratitude towards God, considered as the true essence of ‘ibada “(worship).
The feeling of gratitude is so important that a non-believer is called ‘Kafir’, which means “one who denies the truth” and also “who is not grateful.”
A believer loves God and thank all the goodness that has bestowed. However, when one is aware of the fact that good actions whether mental or physical are not yet possible to compare the favor of God, the believer is always anxious to know if God will reward here on earth or beyond . As a result, be subject to Him and serve in all humility. You can not keep that attitude with virtually no idea of God always present in spirit. This same idea is also the true power of faith, without which it would disappear and vanish.
The Quran tries to emphasize this feeling of gratitude often repeating the divine attributes. Most of these attributes appear in the following verses:
“Allah is no god but He is the Knower of the unseen and the seen. Is the Compassionate, the Merciful. Allah is no god but He, the King, Holy Peace. It is He who testifies to his own truth, the Custodian, the Almighty, the strongest, the Supreme. Glory to God! Is above what they associate. It is Allah the Creator. The Maker, the Shaper. It has the most beautiful names. Those in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. Is the Almighty, the Wise. “(Quran 59:22-24.)
“Allah No God but He, the Living, the Eternal. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtake Him To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth. Who can intercede with Him except with your permission? He knows his past and his future as they do not encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wants. His throne extends over the heavens and on earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Sublime, the Great. “(Qur’an 2:255.)
“O People of the Book! Fanaticéis not in your religion, not God tell the truth. The Messiah Jesus son of Mary, is only a messenger of God, His Word and Spirit, which He communicated to Mary. So believe in God and His messengers. Do not say “three”! Enough, is better for you. Allah is God, One, Glory to Him! How could I have a child?” (Qur’an 4:171.)
