Islam came to Reno in Hispanic heritage only eighty years after the death of Prophet Muhammad (May God bless and keep peace in his holy!). For eight glorious centuries of the Christian year 711 to 1492, Islam remained the most tolerant religion in the Iberian Peninsula until the Inquisition, falsely called “The Holy Office” ousted him from the years 1480 and 1550 approximately.
During the time of the Spanish Muslims, were built as famous monuments like the Great Mosque of Cordoba (which was the capital of the Hispano-Islamic state), the Alcazar of Seville and the Alhambra in Granada, which continue to attract tourists and real Islamic architectural gems.
