A little reflection, in light of the difference between the Suras Mecana (*) and the Suras Madinans (**)-answer to the question of why the chapters (Suras) of the Koran were not placed in the order in which were revealed. This issue is important because it has been used by the enemies of Islam to plot misunderstandings about the Quran and make ridiculous assumptions about the actual order of the Suras. They claim that the followers of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gathered and published the Koran without a predetermined order, for example, because of time or any other factor, just trying to put the longer chapters in the beginning.
These assumptions explain why ignore the wisdom of the Koran. But being the perennial book, valid for all time, had to be revealed gradually over the course of twenty years, according to the needs and requirements of different stages of the preaching of the prophet. It is obvious that the sequence of the revelations during the sermon, initially could not be adequate to complete the revelation. At first, the Qur’an addresses the people who know nothing of the deep essence of Islamic faith, and therefore had to instill, of course, the most elementary principles. “I had to let them know their rights and duties to regulate their lives, so the order was different. His preparation for the programming of the Message to all mankind, the indispensability to warn of the dangers that appeared among the followers of earlier Prophets.
Early Prophets-for-imposed duty to put them in that order. Therefore, the Suras: – “ALBAQARA” (The Cow) the Medinan and not “THE Alaq” and the mechanic would have to be at the beginning of the Koran.
Moreover, for the purpose of the Quran is not relevant grouping by subject. To avoid bias in any stage of their study, it is essential that the Suras are, as they are, sandwiched between the Suras revealed at Medina, and that the Suras revealed at Medina (Madinah) continue to Mecca, and the Suras revealed at the beginning of the sermon was ordered, among which were revealed at a later period.
All the above was well prepared to complete the mission of Islam to remain always at the reader. Hence the wisdom of the current order.
It should be noted that the order of the Qur’an was established by the Prophet himself (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) inspired by God. When a sura was revealed to him, the Prophet dictated verbatim to one of his clerks, ordering where in the Sura that they should be placed. Also in the case of a passage or verse that was not an independent Sura, the Prophet gave instructions to insert it into its proper place in the Sura that had to be part.
Moreover, the Prophet used to always recite the Koran during prayer (3) and at other times always in the same order, and instructed his men to recite them in that order.
Thus, it is an irrefutable fact that the current order of the Qur’an was established by the Prophet, upon completion of the disclosure, under the inspiration of God the Creator of the Universe.
COLLECTION
God to reveal the Qur’an decreed the orders for the preservation of the message-of any misrepresentation, for their survival.
As verses and suras were revealed to the Prophet, were written by scribes in date palm leaves, bark, bones, etc., Beautifully kept. In addition, countless supporters these texts copied verbatim for the devotion and many believers to recite memorized in your prayers. While many companions of the Prophet they memorize the Koran, his collection was carried out after the death of the Prophet. In armed clashes that occurred as a result of a furious wave of apostasy, many of the companions of the Prophet who had memorized the Quran, fell. That was how Omar-successor of the Prophet considered it vital to preserve the Qur’an, recorded in writing in a book to preserve it intact.
To this end, he communicated his opinion to Abou Baker, who in turn, agreed on the need for it. To this end IBRN Zaid Thabit was devolved to the enormous task of copying the Revelation contained in the Koran. Their suitability and competence had been consecrated by the Prophet and often acted as an amanuensis of the Prophet, and that one of the companions of the prophet who knew the Koran by heart, and had witnessed the recitation of the Quran by Muhammad before the Angel Gabriel (the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
The compilation of the text of the Quran was conducted with the cooperation of colleagues who had memorized the entire Quran or fragments. This historic and sacred task was carefully performed by taking all appropriate measures to avoid distorting the Revelation, “checking all parts, word by word, comparing and verifying all the text to be certified for authenticity, since all had been written Revelation under the dictation of the Prophet and its control by Muslim scribes.
The text of the Holy Quran was compiled entirely kept in the house of Hafsah, the daughter of Omar and one of the wives of the Prophet, and declared that any Muslim could get true copy of the Koran or to compare if the person had already a copy handwritten text of its property. In the compilation of the Quran followed the same order as the Prophet had established. The order of the chapters (Suras) is as authoritative as the text Zaid wrote. No basis to assume that the current order of the Suras is after the death of the Prophet, and not according to that followed by Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And we refer to the fact that the Prophet recited the entire Quran every month of Ramadan before the Angel Gabriel, but during the last Ramadan of his life, the Prophet recited twice in full before the Angel Gabriel Zaid attended the second reading. It is therefore evident that Zaid followed that order of the Prophet.
Imam Malek explains: “The Koran was compiled in the order in which the Prophet’s companions heard him recite.” Moreover, in several paragraphs, the Qur’an is described in the book of Revelation. One example is the Sura “Muzzamil” (one of the first revelations in Mecca), where God commands the Prophet: “Recite the Qur’an the Order” (73-4). this shows that since the beginning of revelation, God had established it was meant to be a book with a predetermined order by the Creator of the Universe.
