Tawheed Da’wah not upright without a correct understanding of the essence of worship. Therefore, to explain to people about the breadth of coverage and the pillars of worship is an integral part of preaching monotheism itself. Allah ta’ala says (which means), “Lord you said: Pray unto me, would I turn down. Those who boast of worship Me will surely enter Hell in a state of abject. “(Surah Ghafir: 60). Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah may Allaah have mercy saying, “Worship is a term that includes everything that loved and blessed God, in the form of word and deed, the inner as well as born. This means prayer, alms, fasting, hajj, truthful in speech, fulfilling the mandate, of dedication to both parents, kinship connecting rope, keeping the promises, ordered that ma’ruf, forbids the unjust, jihad against infidels and hypocrites, do good to neighbors, orphans, poor people, ibn sabil, or slaves of the humans or pets, prayers, dhikr, reading of al-Qur’ab, and so forth that all is worship. Likewise, love of Allah and His Messenger, fear Allah, to Him Inabah rehab centers, mengikhlaskan religion for Him, Her patient face assessment, grateful for His blessings, pleased with his fate, put their trust in Him, to expect mercy Him, his fear of punishment, and like it even included the worship of God. “(al-’Ubudiyah, p.. 6)
Worship at the origin implies assentation, but worship is commanded by Allah to His servants is a form of self-humiliation of God the highest peak along with a sense of love to Him. A person who subjugate themselves to others but keep hating him is not considered to worship him. Similarly, people who love someone but do not subjugate themselves to him were not said to worship him. Therefore, these two pillars of worship that is degrading, self-love and the peak-that must always exist in a live worship to God. Even God must be loved more than anything and a person who’s most majestic than anything else. In fact, it is not entitled to get a sense of love and submission to perfect except God alone. Everything that is loved not because God is love is love for the broken / invalid. Similarly, it is not something other than God-glorifying respectable without orders from his exaltation, but it is a falsehood (see al-’Ubudiyah, p.. 12)
Worship is sustained by three pillars of the liver deeds, namely:
1. Flavor of love
2. Fear
3. A sense of hope (see at-Tawheed al-Muyassar, p.. 53)
All three of the above must be collected within himself a Muslim, should not be separated from one another. Anyone who relied only on one of them and get rid of the others so he does not worship God with truth. Worship to God only by love is the path of the Sufis. Worship God only in the hope that is the way the Murji’ah. Worship to God only with fear is the way the Kharijites (see al-Ershad ila Saheeh al-I’tiqad, p.. 35)
Worship consists of three types of deeds:
1. Practice liver
2. Oral practice
3. Deeds of the body (see Fath al-Majid, p.. 17)
