Among the obligations of Muslims is dressed as commanded by Allah and RosulNya. Allah the Almighty has ordered the faithful women to reach their hijab on her body. He said:
O Prophet, say to the wife-wives, daughters and wives of people believers: “Let them extended veils all over their bodies.” That is so they are easier to be known, because they were not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah 33:59)
From this verse we learn that women must wear headscarves. Jilbab namely: outer clothing such women mukena / rukuh, imposed from above cover most of his body. The properties of the hijab / women’s clothing is as follows:
1. Covering the entire body, except the part that may be loaded.
Allah says:
And do not they (the women believe) to show off their adornment except that (usually) visible from mereka.Dan let them cover with a cloth veil to their chests. (Qur’an 24:31)
Allah forbids a woman to show her jewelry, except the usual look. About jewelry that looks unusual, then there are two interpretations of scholars:
a) clothing worn. This is the opinion of Ibn Mas’ud.
b) face and two hands. It is the opinion of friends: Aisha, Ibn Umar, and Ibn Abbas. It is also an opinion of Ibn Jarir, al-Bayhaqi, adh-Dhahabi, Al-Qurtubi, Ibn Qoththon, Al-Albani. And this opinion is stronger, because it is a charity which applies to many women at the time of the Prophet and afterwards. (Mar’atil Jilbab Muslimah, p.: 41, 51, 52, 59).
Thus a Muslim woman must cover her entire body, except face and palms. Closing the woman’s face is not compulsory, but not the excessive actions, even it is a virtue, because it is done by the wives of the Prophet and some female companions in those days and thereafter
2. Not a jewelry.
The purpose is veiled command to cover jewelry. If the veil / dress-adorned themselves decorated with lace, brooches, accessories, colors that attract people’s views, then this includes “tabarruj” are forbidden. Allah says:
And do the women believing women that show their jewelry. (Surah 24:31)
Allah also said:
And let you stay in your house and do not tabarruj. (Surah 33:33)
Tabarruj means: the act of a woman who showed her jewelry, beauty, beauty, and everything must be covered, in the form of a push contemplates the lust of men. ” (Mar’atil Jilbab Muslimah, p.: 120)
Hence, if out of the house, women should wear dark colored clothing, no lights and colorful so that it will attract people’s views.
3. Thick, did not show any skin color.
Because if the thin fabric, it means not to close the aurot.
Prophet Muhammad said:
Two types of (human) among the inhabitants of Hell, now I have not seen them: A group of men who took the whip-whip, like the tails of cattle, they hit people with it. Women who dress, (but) they were naked. They turn others away (from truth), their (own) away from (the truth). Their heads are tilted like a camel hump. These women will not enter heaven, and will not get the smell of heaven. And the smell would be seen from a great distance. (Narrated by Muslim, no: 2128)
Among the interpretations of scholars to the words of the Prophet: “women who dress, (but) naked”, ie: they cover most of his body, but others appeared to exhibit beauty. Or they wear thin clothes that show skin color. So they were dressed like lahiriyahnya, but they were naked because they do not cover aurot .. That is why Ibn Hajar Al-Haitami deeds count women who wear thin clothes which reveal the color of his skin, including a major sin! (Az-Zawajir 1 / 127, 129)
The scholars ‘said: “Compulsory aurot covered with what appeared no skin color …” (Majmu’ Syarh Al-Muhadzdzab 3 / 170. Quoted from it: (Mar’atil Jilbab Muslimah, p.: 129, by Sheikh Al-Albani)
4. Loose, not tight that form the body member.
Usama bin Zaid said: “The Messenger gave heavy clothing made Qibthi (Egypt) in between which was awarded by Dihyah Al-Kalbi to him. So I put the to my wife. Then he asked: “Why do you not wear clothes made Qibthi it?” I replied: “I put the to my wife.” Then he said: “Perintahlah him to wear clothes in it double, because I was worried the clothes form the size of his bones”. (Narrated by Dhiya ‘Al-Maqdisi; Ahmad, Al-Bayhaqi; dihasankan by Al-Albani in dalam131)
That is revealing of his limbs, as is mostly done by women ignorant of the age. Tight shirts, tight jeans, dressed but naked!
5. Unscented.
Prophet Muhammad said:
Each eye must have committed adultery. And if a woman wearing perfume and he passed the Majlis (the man) then he’s this and that, the adulterer. (Narrated by Tirmidhi, no: 2786; Abu Dawud, no: 4173; etc.)
6. Not resemble men’s clothing.
Abu Huroiroh said:
Allaah has cursed the men who wear women’s clothing and women who wear men’s clothing. (Narrated by Abu Dawud, no: 4098, Ibn Majah, Ahmad; etc.
Imam adh-Dhahabi and Ibn Hajar Al-Haitami enter this in the big sins! With this it is clear that women are not allowed to wear special clothing for men, such as jackets, trousers, turban, cap, hat, etc.. ((Mar’atil Jilbab Muslimah, p.: 150)
And kaedah that distinguish between garments men and women is what is appropriate and religious orders to the men and women. Women were ordered to cover themselves, and not show off the beauty. (See: (Mar’atil Jilbab Muslimah, p.: 153)
7. No clothing resembling kaafir women or wicked.
In general, Islam forbids his people like those who disbelieve in all cases that is their special characteristic. Included in the matter of clothes. So the faithful woman forbidden to imitate and dress like women or wicked infidel. Prophet Muhammad said:
Whoever resembles a people, so he included them. (Narrated by Abu Dawud, no: 4031; etc.)
Once we know this, consider that there is in most Moslem woman! They mimic many modes of the clothes the women infidel and wicked. How far they are from the guidance of the religion of truth.
8. Not syuhroh clothes (which makes the well-known).
Prophet Muhammad said:
Anyone wearing clothing syuhroh, Allah will put her clothes humiliation on the Day of Resurrection, then she burned him in Hell. (Narrated by Abu Dawud, no: 4030; Ibn Majah)
Ibn al-Athir said: “What is meant is that his clothing became popular among the people because warnamya different from the colors of their clothing, so that the people lifted their eyes to him, and he acted with pride and arrogance.” (Quoted from Mar’atil Jilbab Muslimah, p.: 213)
Sheikh Al-Albani said: “Apparel syuhroh is any clothing that is intended for well-known in humans. Both the clothing is expensive / valuable, which the wearer proud to wear it for the world and jewelry, or clothing poor / low to reveal the wearer wear ascetic (away from the world) and riya ‘. (Mar’atil Jilbab Muslimah, p.: 213). Sharee’ah Roobil ‘Alamiin
