In the land of Egypt, where they had once lived the children of Abraham, Jacob and Joseph, there was then, a perverse and wicked Pharaoh. One day, the evil Pharaoh ordered all male children of the descendants of Joseph were to die. He gave this order because they wanted the descendants of Joseph increased and became more powerful than their own people.
It was at this time so dangerous when Moses was born. God sent a message to his mother, saying that would put the little Moses in a small basket and put the basket in the river. ” Thus, Moses might escape the terrible fate that Pharaoh had decreed
The basket containing the baby was found by Pharaoh’s wife. This woman was kind and good heart, and Moses took the palace. Nobody knew who were his parents, but the Pharaoh’s wife wanted to stay with him and then searched for a mother to breastfeed. God made Moses’ own mother was brought to the palace for the nurse to take as his own son. This vid saved the baby Moses, and God’s help was returned to his own mother.
Moses grew up in Pharaoh’s palace and was educated by the best teachers, who made him an intelligent and capable.
When Moses became a man, had to leave Pharaoh’s land for a trip. Along the way, he passed a well where the shepherds were watered their flock. Moses was found there two women who also wanted to water his sheep. But they could not get into the pit before the shepherds away their flocks of it. Moses helped give drink to his flock, and when the two women returned home, told his old father what had happened. He sent one of them to be invited Moses to come to your home. After a while, the father offered one of his daughters to wife and Moses agreed. Thereafter, Moses led a happy life with his family and the elderly, living beside the well.
After some years, Moses and his family were traveling in the country when he suddenly saw a big fire. Moses told his family to stay there and it was only to find out what it was that fire. When he approached, he heard a voice: Oh Moses, “said the voice,” I am God your Lord. I will make my Prophet. You must go and tell people that there is one God, Allah. They have created. Should therefore be grateful and pray only to God and strive to do good. Bring your brother Harun (Aaron) and go to Pharaoh and his people and give them My message.
Moses went to Egypt and told Pharaoh: God, the Lord of the Worlds, I sent you. I am a messenger from God and I bring you the truth. You have to release the descendants of Joseph, who are being oppressed in this land and allow it to come with me.
When Pharaoh heard this he became furious and shouted: Lie! Nobody but me, the great Pharaoh of Egypt, lord of the world. I am the mightiest king on earth. You must be mad to dare to say otherwise. If I disobey, I’ll be in prison!
But Moses was not afraid of the wrath of Pharaoh, or his words. With God’s help I will show you that God is more powerful than all the men and also more powerful than you. Moses took his rod and then threw it down. Suddenly, the rod became a serpent coiled thick and long.
Obviously, you’re a magician, “said the Pharaoh, seeing this,” will call all the magicians of the country and then see who does better magic, they or you.
So the magicians were summoned to the palace of Pharaoh. They carried many sticks and turned them into snakes. But then Moses went to throw his staff down and it became a snake again, and this snake ate all the snakes that had made the wise men.
The Wise Men were surprised and said. We believe in God. Has commanded Moses and His Prophet, God is indeed much more powerful than every one of us.
Pharaoh was furious, and said: Are you going to believe in something before I give you permission to believe in it?, It shall be cut at all hands and feet as punishment! “He shouted to the magicians.
- Do you want revenge on us only because we believe in the signs of God, “responded the wise men. We do what we do, we keep coming back to God. May God have mercy on us and help us to be steadfast and patient. In this way the wise men, greedy men who were before, were turned into servants of God, good and faithful.
Moses was then to meet with the descendants of Joseph, who were suffering much oppression under the rule of the evil Pharaoh, and said: We will leave Egypt. But after they had gone, Pharaoh went after them with his soldiers to bring them back.
Moses and his people rushed the march until they finally reached the sea. But then the king and his soldiers were approaching them, and people began to feel very afraid. But God came to his aid and the waters parted for Moses and his people could go walking through and reach the other side. When Pharaoh and his soldiers reached the sea, came riding behind them, but could not reach to Moses and his people before they reached the other side. Suddenly, while Pharaoh and his soldiers were riding through the seabed, the waters closed again, and all drowned. And God saved Moses and his people because he just adored him, however, the Pharaoh, who refused to believe in God, who was proud and even wanted to put Moses in jail, could do nothing to save her army.
Once escaped, Moses and his people wandered in the wilderness for many years. One day, Moses received God’s command to climb a high mountain. Moses was there forty days and nights praying to God and listening to what God had to say to him and his people. But Moses was out forty days and forty nights it seemed to her too long and people got impatient. Decided to make a golden calf and worship. When Moses came down the mountain, saw the calf and became very angry. Calf broke into a thousand handpick and reprimanded her so strongly that people were ashamed of themselves. You must never worship anything besides God told Moses.
Moses gave his people a book that God had revealed to him on the mountain. This book is called Taurat. In the Taurat, it is stated that men should do and what not to do. Never worship anything other than God. They should not kill another man. They should not take things that do not belong. Should do good to their parents and their neighbors.
The people then realized that Moses had been very ungrateful to God, because God was the one who saved them from Pharaoh and his soldiers. Then prayed and thanked God for what He had done for them. asked His forgiveness and promised to work hard in doing good deeds.
God forgives those who are embarrassed by the bad deeds they have done, and are willing to correct their mistakes and turn to God.
