Solomon was the son of David. As you know, Solomon was very fair when he was a boy, and became well known and respected for his wisdom. When he became a man, God made His Prophet. God also taught him to understand the language of birds and animals. But, despite his wisdom and his great wealth, Solomon never forgot God. I knew that everything that is good comes from God. Therefore, always told his people: “Give thanks to God for the good that has given you and for His generosity. Worship Allah and do good works.
Once, Solomon and his soldiers were marching through a valley inhabited by ants. Solomon heard one ant said to another – Quick, out of the way and hide!, Solomon and his soldiers come and trample us, and not even realize that they have done!
Solomon, of course, could understand the language of ants, he laughed and ordered his soldiers to stop and wait for ants to bring safe. Then he prayed to God: “Oh God, help me to do good deeds so that you are satisfied with me.
One day Solomon called all the birds to gather round him, but when looked at the flock, he realized that was missing Abudilla. Solomon waited a while and when I was about to decide not to wait any longer, suddenly came flying Abudilla and sat next to Solomon. “I come from a far away city called Saba,” said Abudilla. “People are very rich and have a queen sitting on a magnificent throne. These people worship the sun and think it’s okay to take the sun as God. But they are wrong, is not that you? Never find the right path to God if they continue like that. God is the only one to worship creatures.
Solomon then wrote a letter to the Queen of Sheba and sent the Abudilla order to deliver it.
When the Queen of Saba received the letter she called all the wise men of the city. “I received a letter from Solomon, he said. “In it, Solomon writes that we must believe in God and worship Him only you advise me what should I do? “We are very powerful and can deal with Solomon, but you must decide what we do,” replied the wise.
“But a war,” said the Queen, “could lead to the destruction of our city and our best warriors would become cruel fighters. Therefore, prefer not to declare war. Instead, send a gift to Solomon.
When the envoys of Queen of Sheba came with the gift, they were very surprised to see that Solomon became very angry. – Why did you bring these items, rather than follow my advice? – Solomon scolded them. “What God has given me is better than all these gifts. Turn to your Queen and Take away your gifts! -
The Queen of Sheba, when he heard that Solomon had rejected his precious gift, he was also very, surprised. And she decided to go to Solomon. Made to bring people together and made preparations for the trip to the city of Solomon.
When the queen arrived, Solomon spoke about God and she realized how wrong I had been to worship the sun. “You’re right,” he told Solomon, “from now on, only bow to God. He is our only Lord and we must obey Him alone.
