For a month I have been researching about Islam and I started reading the Koran. Personally I feel I am ready to take the Shahada (Declaration of Faith), but some Muslim friends think I’m not ready.
I warn that I will take a very quick decision to commit for life, but I feel I’m ready. Could you advise that I can do to prepare, be aware and be able to declare that only Allah is One God and do not rush into this decision?.

The advice I have received from some people is that you expect, it’s really strange, maybe they are afraid to come back to disbelief after embracing Islam. Do not you think that death can come at any moment?
If your answer is yes, I ask again, do not you think the best thing to do is go ahead and enter Islam immediately?, And that if death comes early, you will meet Allah as a follower of their religion, Islam, since he does not accept any other religion. Coupled with this, you have read, Alhamdulillah, about Islam and have read the Koran for a reasonable period, so do not hesitate, do not deprive yourself of the rewards you receive as you enter Islam.
