In Deuteronomy 18, Moses stated that God told him: “Prophet will arise from among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it. ” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19 RVR 1960) .1

Want to embrace Islam but has been advised to wait

For a month I have been researching about Islam and I started reading the Koran. Personally I feel I am ready to take the Shahada (Declaration of Faith), but some Muslim friends think I’m not ready.

I warn that I will take a very quick decision to commit for life, but I feel I’m ready. Could you advise that I can do to prepare, be aware and be able to declare that only Allah is One God and do not rush into this decision?.
